How RateMoves works

Where the rates come from

Under Australia’s Consumer Data Right (CDR), banks, mutuals and credit unions must publish their home loan products, rates and fees in a standard format. We read that data straight from each lender, currently 92 lenders, several times a day. The last check was 2 Nov, 12:05 am AEDT.

Every change a lender makes is recorded on the rate changes page. Tracking began 1 Nov 2026.

How loans are ranked

What isn’t included

This isn’t the whole market. Lenders that don’t publish CDR data, including most non-bank lenders, aren’t covered, and neither are unadvertised discounts or rates a broker may negotiate. Lenders mortgage insurance, government fees and fixed-rate break costs aren’t included in costs. Discounts a lender publishes separately from its headline rate aren’t applied.

Not advice

RateMoves provides general information only. It doesn’t consider your objectives, finances or needs, and isn’t a recommendation of any credit product. Check the lender’s current rates, fees, eligibility criteria and key facts sheet before you decide.

Rates are checked every few hours from each lender’s published Consumer Data Right product data; last checked 2 Nov, 12:05 am AEDT. This is general information, not credit or financial advice, and doesn’t consider your circumstances. Confirm rates, fees and eligibility with the lender before you apply. We don’t take payment from lenders, and the order of results never depends on who pays. How this works.
